Absolutely. It is simple. We make only what we need, no more. We make our frames locally to reduce transportation. Nouvelle Chicane purposely carries a small number of frames in inventory, only 20-30 pieces. We make one pair of frames at a time! Orders of one! If a customer wants a special color, we make that, once. Nearly every other eyewear manufacturer order 200 pieces at a time.  Up to 50% of their inventory (many times) gets thrown away rather than discounted.  High brands cannot discount deeply, it impacts their image.

Our solution is the old way.  Reminiscent of when artisans made you a pair of glasses in their shop and you discussed what you wanted and how it felt. Mass production is now in the past.  Nouvelle Chicane is committed to returning the artisan mindset to luxury eyewear. We are not a giant, nor are we interested in making big lots, of eyewear, or dream of supplying amazon.
