Nouvelle Chicane is working with copper tubing, brass rod, stainless steel, stainless braided cable and titanium. The material combinations are limitless as is our imagination.
Presently, copper provides us the most interesting design space. We polish it to a gleaming shine for some frames, but for others we will encourage a patina. This invokes an accelerated oxidation technique we developed in our studio. The patina gives a beautiful greenish blue color and granular texture detail.
